Firefighters battle Bristol McDonald's blaze

A McDonald's Restaurant in Bristol caught fire late Tuesday.

Dispatchers for Elkhart County's 911 center said the fire was reported about 10:45 p.m. at the McDonald's, located at the intersection of Indiana 120 and County Road 17 between Elkhart and Bristol.

There were no reports of injuries.

Although there was no immediate word on the extent of the damage, authorities said three area departments were called to help Bristol firefighters quench the flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
