ELKHART — An Elkhart man has been arrested in connection with the theft of $3,800 worth of wire in Topeka, Ind.

Police said 31-year-old Warren Krull was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property after his mother called police Monday to tell them she thought her son was loading stolen wire into his vehicle.

According to a press release, officers found Krull and another man at the garage where the wire had been stored.

Investigators recovered 18 rolls of wire which they later found had been taken from Champion Homes in Topeka.

The other man was questioned but was not arrested.

And the next headline will read... "Plea bargained out, beat mother to death for turning him in". Good job Mom! Now if the court system will follow through and keep him locked up...

Are you kidding me? He's 31??? I am 40 and I look 10 years younger than that guy! But then meth has never entered this body. I have to agree with the others, it had to be a tough thing for his Mom to do, but she did the right thing for sure.

I remember when ELKHART MAN was on the side of good, fighting crime and social injustice. Now he's breaking the law, and wearing an unkempt disguise. Not only that, I imagine that guy to stink.

I am sure it is not easy to have to report your own child no mater how old they are but by the looks of this guy he needs to get some help it is obvious by the way he looks that he has a substance abuse problem of some kind.

this guy looks older than 31. His mom called, so he must have other problems that aren't mentioned in the article.
