sad, a lil young in my opinon to be riding these machines but I have been called "over protective" I cann't imagine the pain the parents are going thru. but we need to comfort the family that is STILL HERE, the sad truth is he is gone but the family is here so lets take care of them and their needs. accidents can happen to anyone. I think alot of parents are saying "thank God its not my son" so lets support them not judge them people

I'm a couple hundred miles away, but my many relatives live right where that happened - my condolences and deepest sympathies to the little boy's family and friends, to the poor woman who happened to be driving down that road at that time, and to the people (many of my relatives, I hear) who had to witness all of this. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to deal with such a tragedy. My thoughts are with you all. (And why are people being so unbelievably rude here?! Hindsight is 20/20...)

I remember hearing this call on scanner, the more you heard the worse it got. As a mother this is absolutely gut wretching, I cant even imagine what they are going thru. IF EVER there was a time to believe in prayer now is the time. Thoughts and prayers with BOTH famlies.

Dear 9:52 am. You must be crazy to write such an ugly post. Prayer has brought people from deaths door. May I add, God isn't responsible for bad. As humans we have free will (a gift from God). It is our CHOICE to do right and/or wrong. God doesn't make anyone do anything. He gives you that choice. My Lord, it was purely an accident and he payed the supreme price. I pray for his family but more for YOU! You need gods mercy badly!

I am truely sorry for this family's loss. Losing a child is so tragic by itself then to have it compounded by people on this site is horrific. What makes it worse is that free speech online is not a right protected by the first amendment but wsbt does nothing about it. http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5jSWSCTMQiLrloEhRRJ0oJa3H0yNQ

I hope no one else has to feel the pain of this family. . RK wrote: "God is in control of all things and he has called his little 10 year old angel home to be with him." . If god is responible for your good times he/she/it is responible for your bad times. Why cant we blame god for the good and the bad? . Stop praying and start doing something positive.

How many of you "judgers" have lost a young loved one? I have a 12 year old boy and I am so overprotective it's not funny, but I know that he will do things that I don't approve of, but that is part of growing up. I hope the families can find peace soon. My prayers are with them all. In this day and age, we as caring human beings need to come together and support one another instead of condemning each others im perfections.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and to the young woman who accidently hit this young boy. I am sure she is having a hard time dealing with this as well. I know it is hard to grasp now, but everything happens for a reason, though we may not be able to find one, God has a plan for us all. Stay strong, and God Bless.

This really tugged at my heart strings. I am praying for the families and the driver of the car. This was always my worst nightmare! I have 4 boys and the youngest is going off to college in 2 days. I have been fortunate that they are all still with me.

In difficult times we always ask Why Why Why, Don't put the blame on anyone. Things happen and we can't understand why. I am sure it was no body's fault. God is in control of all things and he has called his little 10 year old angel home to be with him. I am truely sorry for your loss, but you will again meet with your son in heaven. To the driver of the car, Don't be hard on yourself. I will pray for all families involved.

My son has been riding a small motorcycle up and down our driveway for a few years now. We have a long drive and are in the country. When he was first learning, he did go out on the road and wrecked his bike. Luckily, he was wearing a helmet when he flipped it and even more luckily, there were no other vehicles/drivers involved. He had only minor injuries but realizes how much worse it COULD HAVE BEEN! Kids do things and we can't always stop them. My prayers are with all involved.

This thread is prime example of why this type of forum is not good. The public anonymously becomes judge, jury and executioner, and inflict more needless pain on two families already reeling from a holiday weekend turned sour. This country has a system set up to ensure fairness and justice are met in circumstances such as this, after an investigation. But what about Grace in time of need. What about forgiveness. I'm sure if this child, if could speak, would comfort his own. Where is compassion.

This has been an extraordinarily unfortunate incident for our entire family. We greatly appreciate the thoughts and prayers of everyone and absolutely do not appreciate the comment about the young lady who was involved in this tragedy. She has a great deal of trauma to deal with just as we do.

umm- why would anyone be happy to know that someone is devastated? I think the question was- where were the parents/(adult guardian) when this happened? Not 'is the dad devastated.' Im sure he is.

Prayers are with this family, prayers also for the driver of the vehicle.Sometimes things happen EVEN when parents are RIGHT THERE.Please remember, think before you write, one day,God forbid,it may be news about your family and how would you like others to write. The most improtant thing is to offer condolences and prayers of support for those involved.Nothing else matters right now,I'm sure the parents are second guessing themselves enough for ALL of us. God Bless the Flosenziers during this time.

I had Zach in a class when he was in kindergarten. His parents did love him. I pray for the family. What a difficult thing. Please, people, refrain from smart remarks. You aren't proving anything and the family doesn't need them. You wouldn't write a nasty letter to the editor with those sorts of comments, so please don't do it because you can anonymously. God be with the family, his siblings, and everyone involved, as well as with the woman who hit him.
