Firefighters battle LaGrange County blaze

Firefighters battled a stubborn blaze near Camp Potawatomi in LaGrange County early Sunday.

Dispatchers for the Sheriff's Office said crews remained on the scene of the structure fire in the 7000 block of East 700 South at 3 a.m., but there were no injuries reported.

There was no word on what caused the blaze, and the building was not believed to be located on camp property.

Camp Potawatomi, a YMCA camp near South Milford, is home to programs for children with cancer and muscular dystrophy.
