Gun brandished during South Bend carjacking

Police are looking for a man who stole a car at gunpoint in South Bend early Sunday.

The carjacking happened about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Johnson Street on the city's west side, city 911 dispatchers said.

No one was injured in the incident.

The victim described the gunman as a black male in his 20s, wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. He was last seen driving the tan 1997 Mazda Protege west towards Olive Street.
