The police in SB are horrible. The people responsible for crime are the criminals but the police are a huge part of the solution. The police in SB are not doing their jobs and are often unprofessional. There needs to be a change in leadership. Remember, some criticism can be warranted and I believe in this case it is. How about blame the courts and judges for light sentences and not keeping the criminals behind bars so they won't be out on a next to nothing bond re-offending? How about blame the parents of whomever shot this guy for not teaching them right from wrong. I can go on but whats the use when someone has such a moronic attitude in the first place. Put the blame where it belongs which is NOT on the cops. Tuesday, Jul 8 at 1:31 PM Anonymous wrote ...WE NEED BETTER POLICE IN SOUTH BEND!!!!! But is being judged by the people that get serviced at that particular place which happens to be a public place, and when it comes to business and surviving, money is money, and discrimination is not part of that equation. Secondly don't be so quick to make a sterio type of all car washes and what goes on at all car washes because you don't know. Like most you know what you hear and are dumb enough to believe it! Maybe you have had a bad experience or two but all car washes are not the same. Just out of interest, how does anyone propose we get better police? Should we put an ad in the paper? Wanted: Better Police. Maybe we can put an ad on Monster.com. Desparate city with growing crime problem and incompetent mayor needs help.
