MISHAWAKA — A man who acted like he had a gun robbed a hotel Sunday morning.

Police were called to Spring Hill Suites, 5225 Edison Lakes Parkway, after the hotel’s clerk reported being robbed about 5:35 a.m.

The clerk told police a man had entered the front doors, approached the desk and eventually demanded money. The man then made a motion like he had a gun in his pocket.

The man emptied the hotel’s cash register, taking more than $300, and left the building, possible driving in a white car.

Frankly anonymous, no I have not. I would venture to say the potential gains of achieving a GED at this late stage in my life far outweigh the effort I would need to exert. Not to mentional the financial aspects of quitting my job to attend classes. Now, might I enquire if you have considered desisting from posting banal pithy comments such as your previous effort?

Linda, you're an idiot. Do you think those illegal drugs just magically appear? The crack fairy waves her magic crack pipe and POOF there's crack? No, the drugs and the raw materials are shipped here. On trucks. Trucks that use gasoline and diesel. Higher gas prices = higher illegal drug prices. More busts like Kosciusko raise prices even higher as speculators corner the market.

Gas prices have nothing to do with it. People supporting addictive drug habits are committing robberies like this and they have for years. Nothing will ever change. There will be good upstanding citizens and there will be crooks until the end of time.

This sounds like the guy who hit a couple hotels in Ohio last month. Got away with a couple of rooms and a pool I think. Good job the clerk wasn't a mime, because even if the guy didnt have a gun, and was just pretending, a mime clerk would still get shot. I think crime has always been around, but lately it seems everyone is criming and people go "hey, its cos gas is like totally too expensive". We need to get gas prices down and get back to normal crimininallity.
