A firefighter reportedly saved a cat Tuesday by pulling it from a fire and performing CPR on it.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in Penn Township on Windingbrook Drive in the Winding Brook subdivision, off Day Road between Main Street and Fir Road, about noon. No one was home at the time, but two cats were reportedly inside the burning structure.

One of the felines reportedly ran away, but the other had to be rescued from the home and resuscitated.

No one was injured in the blaze, which firefighters said appeared to have been started by a refrigerator in the garage.
