Joker arrested at Three Rivers movie theatre

THREE RIVERS — A man dressed as the "Joker" character from the movie "The Dark Knight" was arrested at the Three Rivers Cinema 6 Theatre early Sunday.

Officers were called to the theater just after midnight Sunday. There they saw theater staff restraining a man dressed in full costume and makeup as the Joker.

Employees told police the man, identified as 20-year-old Spencer Taylor of Three Rivers, was caught trying to steal memorabilia and posters related to "The Dark Knight."

Taylor was arrested and booked on charges of felony larceny and malicious destruction of property.
