Fire, water damage Linden Grill in South Bend

SOUTH BEND — Fire authorities are investigating the cause of a Saturday evening fire at the Linden Grill and Grocery in South Bend.

The blaze was reported at 8:45 p.m. at the business, located in the 1400 block of West Linden Avenue.

Firefighters found water pouring from the building when they arrived and discovered a small fire in the kitchen, the South Bend Fire Department said in a release.

About $10,000 in damage was done to the building, including water damage, department authorities said.

insurance collection what ever. That man will loss a lot more than $10,000 because of the business being closed down for repairs. There are some honest people left out here this man has been doing business on the West side for 15 years.
