NAPPANEE — RV manufacturer Newmar Corp. reduced its workforce for the third time this year, cutting 31 manufacturing positions Wednesday.

In February, about 120 people lost their jobs. Last month, it was about 160 people.

"The adjustment in the workforce was made due to the continuing economic downturn and the impact it has made on the RV industry,” said Director of Human Resources Keith Weirich in a statement to the media.

The company wouldn't comment on whether there were pay cuts for employees who still have their jobs.
