Shipshewana man airlifted after crash

A 19-year-old Shipshewana man was flown to the hospital after an accident in LaGrange County Tuesday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Department said Richard Bontrager pulled from a driveway at 1500 North County Road 1150 West into the path of a northbound vehicle.

Bontrager was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne for his injuries after the 2 p.m. crash.

There was no immediate word on his condition early Wednesday.
