It was nice to see rain, real rain instead of the kind that rains hard for 5 minutes and we don't see any for a while. This was nothing compared to the Hurricane victims in Texas...let it rain some more. It is simply beautiful to see everything green again.

Ray be sure to count your change. If the new Sonic is anything like the one on Portage, they have a difficult time giving you correct change. That half-price burger may actually cost you twice as much.

This isn't JUST rain. Six people have lost their lives in Indiana due to flood waters and falling trees. Some of the people on here are only trying to be helpful by telling everyone where certain roads are flooded. People are getting their crops flooded out and their homes flooded. It might be just rain in your neighborhood, but other areas are having a tough time from the record breaking rainfall.

May God have mercy on all of us who for one reason or other we have sinned and now this water is pouring into our basements and our homes. Galien-Buchanan Road is closed. Between Gardner & Bakertown Roads. Flynn Road in Sawyer, MI is closed @ Kaiser Rd. Warren Woods & Pardee Roads intersection is closed. Water is over the bridge on Warren Woods between Mill and Pardee Rds. As well as the intersection of Holden and Warren Woods Roads intersection is also under water. Kruger Rd Water is running over the bridge as well with the strong current I sure wouldn't go over it.

Berrien County has more roads closed that what is listed above here. They may be secondary roads but they are county roads and not state roads. So why aren't they all listed. so that when people have to get somewhere they can check on here to see just which roads are closed and which are accessible makes for a better commute and not to mention less gas being spent because your not having to turn around and find another way.

The roundabouts on US 20 by the airport are no more than three years old. How can the drainage in these new arteries be flooded. This is another example of the really poor performance of County Government, especialll the County engineer who could not get the Logan Street bridge open for a year after its planned completion date.

I'm a religious man, but this is not a religion issue - it's a geologic one. Soil is kind of like a chamois - it doesn't absorb water nearly as well if it is very dry as ours is from lack of rain. Combine that with very heavy rain over a short time and large amounts of paved ground and you get flooding. This isn't over yet - there's a lot of water to come down the river and crest it before the flooding is done.

Every time something bad happends you always get one person who thinks they know all and says the world is coming to an end. Are we that spoiled that we cant even handle some rain? Yes God promised he would never destroy the earth by flood again, and I for one wouldnt have the nerve to stand up and call God a liar. Careful Ron you might want to repent for your sins. I dont mean to preach, but The bible says first remove the plank from your eye before you try to remove it from your brother's.
