Flooding delays South Shore trains

The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District announced this morning that all South Shore trains are running late due to extensive flooding along the line between the Miller and Gary Metro Center stations.

Delays were running up to 20 minutes for trains traveling in both directions. It was unknown when the problem would be alleviated.
