Crews on scene of Indiana 10 accident

Marshall County crews remained on the scene of an accident along Indiana 10 late Saturday, 911 dispatchers said.

The crash was reported near the Starke-Marshall County line about 10:30 p.m.

Initial calls said the crash was near The Sandbar, a club near Knox, but Starke County authorities said their officers had cleared the scene once the crash was determined to be in Marshall County.

That's just a few miles to the east and closer to Indiana 17 near Culver.

There was no immediate report on the severity of injuries.

State Road 10 is narrow and is a very winding road. Some of those curves by Culver going into Starke County are very sharp and dangerous. I wonder who was in the accident. I used to live near Culver. It's a nice little town.

Sounds like there is some confusion on where the accident was. The sandbar is about 7 or 8 miles from the county line. there are those wicked curves just outside of culver.
