One hospitalized after Adams Road moped accident

GRANGER — One person was hospitalized after a moped accident early Sunday in St. Joseph County.

The crash happened along Adams Road, west of Gumwood Road, according to county 911 dispatchers.

Initial reports indicated the victim had a head injury after leaving the road. The moped then entered a field.

Paramedics were called to the scene just before 1 a.m. and the person was taken to the hospital.

There was no immediate word on the victim's condition.
