NOTRE DAME — Notre Dame tries to stay perfect at home as they take on the Stanford Cardinal Saturday. The Irish are seeking their fourth win of the season, which would give them more wins than they had all last year. In less than a six minute span, Stanford has climbed from 21 points down, and made this a one score game.
Pritchard's second touchdown pass of the 4th quarter pulls the Cardinal within seven with 6 minutes left in the game.
Stanford 14 - Notre Dame 28
Stanford scores for the first time since the 10:51 mark of the 2nd quarter. A one yard pass rom Tavita Prichard to Jim Dray caps an 8 play, 72 yard drive.
Notre Dame leads by 14 with ten minutes left in the game.

Jimmy Clausen has thrown for 300 yards, and the Irish lead continues to grow.
A 41 yard pass to Mike Floyd set up the Irish in the red zone, and one play later, Clausen connected with Kyle Rudolph for a 16 yard score.
On the drive, Floyd becomes the first ND receiver to record back to back 100 yard games since Jeff Samardzija back in 2006.

Stanford wasted a golden opportunity to cut into the Irish lead. After a defensive stand, the Cardinal tookover inside the Irish 35 yard line, but did not make a 1st down. A missed 42 yard field goal attempt, keeps the Notre Dame lead at 14 points with 8:52 remaining in the 3rd quarter.

After holding the Cardinal offense, Notre Dame needs just three plays to score again.
On 3rd and long near mid-field, Jimmy Clausen hits freshman Mike Floyd in stride for a 48 yard touchdown.
It's the longest catch of Floyd's career, and his 3rd touchdown.

The Irish answer Stanford's touchdown with a long drive.
Notre Dame marches 73 yards, aided by two first down catches by freshman tight end Kyle Rudolph. Armando Allen finishes the drive with a 2 yard touchdown carry.
Notre Dame leads with 6:00 remaining in the half.

The Cardinal open the 2nd quarter by capping off a 14 play, 95 yard drive, with a one yard touchdown carry by Toby Gerhart.
The game is tied with 10:51 to play in the 2nd quarter.

Jimmy Clausen dumps a short pass to Armando Allen who goes 21 yards untouched into the endzone.
