SOUTH BEND — South Bend Police had detained at least two people early Sunday in connection with a break-in at Washington High School.

City 911 dispatchers said they received a call at 10:40 p.m. Saturday for the high school, located in the 4700 block of West Washington Street on the city's far west side.

Although there were unconfirmed reports of vandalism and possible burglary, few other details were released as officers continued to investigate the suspicious activity at the school.

At least some of the activity was in the school's pool area, according to initial reports.
