GRAND RAPIDS TWP. — Three local men are in custody in Michigan after an Internet sex sting.

Investigators in Kent County chatted online with unsuspecting men over the past several weeks, then set up a decoy home in Grand Rapids Township.

The men — 21 in all — were arrested when they came to the home to meet the decoy, who they thought was a child.

Most of those arrested were in possession of condoms and alcohol and other items they intended to use with the child, according to police.

Among those arrested were 65-year-old Frederick Davis of Elkhart, 31-year-old Andrew Schutze of Buchanan and 43-year-old Jason Paul of Watervliet.
