SOUTH BEND — Toll Road travelers were slowed early Sunday by an accident west of South Bend.

The collision between a semi-truck and car, about three miles west of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway exit at mile marker 72, was reported about 2:45 a.m.

Indiana State Police said at least one person was injured in the crash.

Those injuries were initially reported as non-life-threatening.

The vehicles landed in the median, police said, after the first information that the accident was in the westbound lanes.

ISP said one eastbound lane was closed near the accident, and authorities expected intermittent traffic delays while crews worked at the scene.

Well we know it wasn't the fault of Notre Dame traffic. They didn't play at home. Actually, they didn't play too well away. Hey WSBT, did you know Notre Dame played yesterday or did Charlie agree to subscribe to the Tribune if you left it out of the news. Mo matter, but a word of advice. Get the subscription cost up front, don't accept any checks and DON'T expect it to be for a full year! By The way, the score was BC 17 ND 0 and last I heard Jimmy was still taking us to the National Championship
