BOURBON — A letter to parents from Triton School Corp.’s superintendent indicates officials found a written bomb threat and another written message in a restroom at Triton Junior-Senior High School.

Both notes are believed to be related to an earlier note which referenced killing people there on Nov. 19, according to the letter written by Carl Hilling, Triton’s superintendent, and posted on the school corporation’s Web site.

School officials are working with local and state police regarding the newest communications as well as taking other steps to ensure security, according to Hilling.

A regularly scheduled school board meeting is set for 7 p.m. Monday night at the school corporation’s administration building, 100 Triton Drive.
