Pain pills taken in pharmacy break-in

SOUTH BEND – Police are continuing to investigate the burglary of pharmacy Sunday and the theft of several bottles of pain medication.

Police were called to the Memorial Family Pharmacy 714 N. Michigan St., after the burglary was discovered by an employee. The pharmacy is located across the street from Memorial Hospital.

Police said a window to the pharmacy was broken and four bottles of narcotics-level pain medication were taken.
