LaPorte police name ‘person of interest’ in credit union robbery

LAPORTE — City police want to talk with Jason Guill, whom they say is a “person of interest” in Friday’s Indiana Federal Credit Union robbery.

Guill, 31, is a LaPorte resident, police say, but his whereabouts are unknown.

Anyone with information about Jason Guill is asked to call LaPorte City Police Det. Sgt. Paul Brettin at (219) 362-9446 or Crime Stoppers at (574) 288-STOP.

Police say at 10:20 a.m. Friday, a man wearing camouflage pants and hooded sweatshirt robbed the credit union at 606 State Street and was last seen running away from the scene.
