SOUTH BEND — Police are looking for a lone suspect who held up the Mutual Bank at 742 E. Ireland Road about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect fled south from the bank into the Erskine Plaza shopping center with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. No weapon was shown.

The suspect was described a white male with a medium build.

Police said he had a goatee and mustache and was wearing a black leather jacket over a striped shirt, a stocking cap and sunglasses.

Police said the man fled the bank in a navy blue Toyota Camry with tinted windows, gold accents, black wheels, an Indiana license plate and front-end damage.
