Gunman sought in fabric store robbery

SOUTH BEND – A business on the city’s south side was robbed afternoon, police said.

The robbery reportedly occurred just before 4 p.m. at Stitch ‘N Time Fabrics, 2305 S. Miami St., just south of East Ewing Avenue.

According to South Bend police, an unidentified male ordered the employees at gunpoint to hand over all of the money from the register.

The man reportedly fled north on Miami.
