Gunman robs Elkhart gas station

ELKHART — A man wielding a gun fled with an unknown amount of money late Wednesday after robbing the Speedway gas station at 1901 Cassopolis St.

According to police reports, the robber entered the store shortly after 11:10 p.m. and approached the cashier. He then pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her, demanding all of the money in the cash register.

The cashier complied, and the man then ran out of the store with the money and fled from the area.

The case remains under investigation.

this happens when the place you work wont hire an extra night person and leave you alone to handle the entire store. I was robbed too and afterwords my boss went off the deep end.
