MIDDLEBURY — Police are investigating circumstances surrounding a stabbing Wednesday night between co-workers that sent one man to Elkhart General Hospital.

Police are searching for a man suspected of stabbing a 22-year-old co-worker about 8:30 p.m., outside a business in the 51000 block of Packard Drive. The man fled the scene before police arrived.

The stabbing was the result of a fight, according to Trevor Wendzonka, Elkhart County Sheriff's Department public information supervisor, though the fight was not believed to be about work-related issues.

I hope the police find this person and justice can be done. At least, there wasn't a horse stabbing.
