UPDATE: State Road 2, Quince Road intersection has reopened

SOUTH BEND — St. Joseph County Police confirmed the State Road 2/Quince Road intersection has reopened.

Several high tension power lines came down across both lanes of State Road 2, according to police, causing police to shut down the road to all traffic.

During the time power lines were down, more than 1,000 electric customers were without service, according to AEP.
