St. Joseph County Police have released the names of two people killed in a two-vehicle collision at Cleveland Road and Nadine Street Wednesday morning.

Edward Jones, 46, of Dowagiac, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Millia Bertha Ross, 86, also of Dowagiac, died later at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Police say early indications are Jones’ car was eastbound on Cleveland Road at 11 a.m., when he lost control of vehicle and crossed the centerline into the path of the westbound SUV. The SUV’s driver, Craig McLemore, 65, of South Bend, and his passenger, Kathleen McLemore, 73, of South Bend, were injured.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident, to call Capt. Dean Chandler at (574) 235-9611.
