SOUTH BEND — Electricity has been restored to the city’s north side, after a three-hour power outage Friday morning.

About 1,800 homes and businesses lost power about 6:30 a.m., said a spokesman for Indiana Michigan Power. The electricity went out about 6:30 a.m. because of a power line down.

Power was restored just after 9:30 a.m.
