LaPaz house fire contained to chimney

LAPAZ — Residents rushed from a LaPaz area home early Sunday after a fire started in the chimney.

Marshall County emergency dispatch said firefighters were called about 3:30 a.m. for the fire, in the 11600 block of 2C Road.

The fire was contained to the chimney, authorities said.

No one was injured during the incident.
