WARSAW — Four people were arrested Monday after a sheriff’s deputy serving eviction papers discovered a suspected methamphetamine-making operation in a home at 1101 E. Winona Ave.

Two men and two women were arrested, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

They are: a 48-year-old man, of the Winona Avenue address, on a preliminary charge of possession of meth; a 27-year-old woman with a Claypool address, on a preliminary charge of possession of meth; a 45-year-old woman with a Warsaw address, on a warrant and a preliminary charge of selling a restricted drug; and a 27-year-old man with a Rochester address, on a warrant and a misdemeanor charge of failing to appear.

Kosciusko County drug task force officers and the Indiana State Police clandestine lab team were sent to the address to dismantle the suspected drug-making laboratory. One large and two small bags of suspected methamphetamine were found at the scene as well as an additional amount of the drug in production, according to police.
