MARCELLUS — A Lawton, Mich., teenager was injured when his snowmobile collided with a pickup truck on Lawrence Road near Parker Street, west of Marcellus.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies said Brock Klein, 18, was taken to Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw after the 4:35 p.m. Saturday accident. A hospital spokeswoman said Monday that Klein was no longer a patient.

Police said Klein failed to yield to traffic while crossing Lawrence and was struck by the pickup truck driven by Colin Schten, 16, of Dowagiac. Klein was wearing a helmet, police said.

The truck driver was not injured, officers reported.
