Stubborn Elkhart County house fire rekindles

Just after 5 a.m. Friday, fire departments from Cleveland and Osolo townships were called again to a house in the 54000 block of County Road 101 — this time to fight a rekindled fire.

Fire crews spent all of Thursday afternoon at the house, according to Elkhart County emergency services dispatch supervisor.Township fire departments from Baugo, Osolo and Penn gave mutual aid to Cleveland Township when the fire first broke out just after noon.

There is no information available on whether anyone was injured or as to the fire's cause.
