Child rescued from Mason Township meth lab

Cass County’s Drug Enforcement Team arrested a man and woman after uncovering a meth lab in the 17000 block of U.S. 12 in Union, according to a sheriff’s department report released Friday.

Cass County’s Child Protective Services now has custody of a child police found in the house in Mason Township.

The adults’ names are being withheld until their court arraignment, according to Detective Phil Small of the sheriff’s department. Their arraignment date has not yet been made public.
