INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Bria Goss hit an off-balance bank shot with
2 seconds remaining, giving Indianapolis Ben Davis a 71-69 victory
over South Bend Washington for the Indiana high school girls Class
4A championship Saturday night.

The winning basket came after Washington rallied from 12 points
down early in the fourth quarter and tied the game on a spinning
layup by Skylar Diggins with 45 seconds to go.

Alex Bentley, who led Ben Davis with 18 points, fouled out with
2:43 remaining. The Giants (30-0) still led by six at that point,
but Diggins scored eight of the final 10 points for Washington
(26-1) to bring the Panthers back.

Diggins led Washington with 29 points and received the IHSAA 4A
mental attitude award.

Goss added 15 points and her sister DeAirra had 12 for Ben
Davis.
