Mishawaka firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire late Monday. The fire was reported about 11:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lincoln Way East.

Authorities told WSBT-TV the house was vacant. There were no injuries reported.

Crews remained on the scene for a little more than an hour, city 911 said.

Mishawaka dispatch staff said no estimate of damages was yet available.
