UPDATE: List of roads closed by flooding

SOUTH BEND — The Indiana Department of Transportation and the city of South Bend have issued a new list of road closings due to high water.

The following roads are closed as of 4:30 p.m.:

South Bend

  • Northside Boulevard from Clover Street east to the boat ramp near Veteran’s Memorial Park
  • Northside Boulevard between Oakland and Louise
  • The River Walk at Howard Park
  • Riverside Drive by Leeper Park, both east and west of Michigan St. has been re-opened to traffic

  • State Road 331 in Marshall County from State Road 10 to State Road 25

  • State Road 55 in Newton County at the Iroquois River

  • State Road 17 in Fulton and Cass counties from State Road 14 to State Road 16

  • State Road 55 in Newton County from State Road 2 to State Road 10

  • State Road 23 in Starke County from State Road 8 to State Road 10

  • State Road 39 in LaPorte County between U.S. 30 and State Road 8

  • State Road 8 in LaPorte County from U.S. 421 to State Road 39

    The ramp from eastbound I-80/94 to Ridge Road is now open.
