SOUTH BEND — A former Penn High School coach who has been charged with violating a protective order could see her bail bond revoked.

Brooke Biggs appeared Wednesday in front of Judge Roland W. Chamblee Jr., who set a hearing for May 6 to decide whether her bond should be revoked.

Biggs was out of jail on $2,000 cash bond when she was arrested Monday after allegedly meeting with a 16-year-old girl she had been ordered to stay away from. A bond revocation could keep Biggs in jail until her trial July 7.

Biggs, 27, also a former physical education teacher at Grissom Middle School, was charged in October with two felony counts of child seduction for allegedly engaging in an improper relationship with a Penn student, including trading explicit text messages with her.

A judge had ordered Biggs to stay away from the alleged victim.

Biggs is currently being held at the jail on $750 cash bond.
