A Goshen family about to lose their home hopes the Internet can help them save it.

Harland and Michelle Moon created “save our doublewide” Web site, asking their neighbors for help.

Harland does construction and was a Jefferson Township volunteer firefighter for eight years; Michelle used to own a shop in Middlebury. The couple has four children.

But, like so many, the Moons are out of work; and now their home of 10 years has been foreclosed. They say they need $3,000 by Monday to keep their home.

“Our idea was if we could just get between three and five thousand people willing to donate $1, we could pay our bills. And, if I had $1, I would give it to anybody on the street that was in need,” Michelle said.

The Moons are having a garage sale starting Friday to sell everything they can to help raise the money.
