Woman injured in Elkhart County rollover accident

A woman was injured when her vehicle rolled over and caught fire in Elkhart County Thursday night.

The accident happened on State Road 15, south of County Road 26.

Police say a driver stopped to pull the woman out of the burning car, but left the scene before he could be identified.

Crews airlifted the woman to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

No word on her condition, but the hospital says her vital signs were stable.

Police say her car was the only one involved in the accident.
