SOUTH BEND — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teenager who has been missing since last week.

Police say 17-year-old Stacy Smart, of South Bend, was last seen on April 1 and has not been heard from or seen since.

Based on journal entries he left behind, police say he could be a danger to himself. He has no history of running away.

Smart, who attends Adams High School and lives on the city’s northeast side, is a male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt.

Police ask that anyone with information call (574) 235-9201.
