All Berrien County residents, companies and institutions are encouraged to use a planned electronics recycling event as a way to properly dispose of old computers, televisions and cell phones.

Bring electronics to recycle to Andrews University Department of Transportation — on the north side of the campus in Berrien Springs — between 3 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15.

Among items which will be accepted for recycling are computers, CPUs, keyboards, computer mice and cords; laptops, speakers, scanners, tabletop printers, cell phones, chargers, VCRs, stereos and speakers, typewriters and televisions.

A fee will be charged for some items — such as computer monitors and televisions.

See a complete list of acceptable items at www.berriencounty.org/recycle. Choose “Electronic Recycling Collections” in the left column.

The recycling event is sponsored by Berrien County Resource Recovery Department and hosted by Andrews University.
