SOUTH BEND — A trial date was confirmed Monday for Susan R. Hancock, former director of St. Joseph County Community Corrections, and her husband Michael E. Hancock.

Susan Hancock was charged last year with receiving stolen property, a Class D felony, in connection with the theft of musical instruments from Conn-Selmer Inc. in Elkhart.

Michael Hancock and Ross G. Yoder also have been charged in the case.

A judge Monday issued a bench warrant for Yoder, who did not appear in court.

The Hancocks’ trial is set to begin May 26.
