Identity theft twist names Elkhart woman

Elkhart Police made traffic stops on the same person on Dec. 10, 2008, and May 2, 2009, but the person apparently wasn’t really who they said they were.

Wednesday, a 52-year-old Elkhart woman came to the police department to report the person who received those traffic citations on those dates gave police her name and information.

The woman filed an identity theft report, according to police.
