Hit-and-run injures mo-ped driver in Osceola

A mo-ped driver was injured after they were thrown from their vehicle just after 3 a.m. Saturday in Osceola.

Another vehicle struck the mo-ped at Pine Street and Lincolnway West, and then fled the scene, according to a St. Joseph County emergency services dispatcher.

There is no information yet on whether the injured driver was an adult or youth.

The person was taken to a local hospital, but there is no immediate information on their condition.
