Errant dog causes Elkhart County mo-ped accident

A Goshen woman was thrown to the ground after a dog ran onto the road and into the mo-ped she was driving.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that Judy Galloway, 62, was driving the mo-ped west on County Road 148, east of U.S. 33, about 4:30 p.m. Friday, when the accident occurred.

Galloway was taken to Goshen General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and later released.
