Second case of H1N1 flu confirmed in Elkhart County

The Indiana Department of Health confirmed 22 new cases of the H1N1 flu Monday, including another case in Elkhart County.

Officials won't release any information about the new case.

That brings the total number of cases in Indiana to 61:

  • 2 in St. Joseph County
  • 2 in Elkhart County
  • 16 in Lake County
  • 34 in Marion County

    The Centers for Disease Control says in the United States there are now 2,600 confirmed cases in 44 states.
