ELKHART — Elkhart Memorial students with good attendance habits will have a chance to win a free used car.

For the second straight year, Lochmandy Motors has donated a car to be raffled off to one of 170 students who missed school twice or less this school year.

The drawing for the 2002 Dodge Stratus will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in front of Elkhart Memorial High School.

Students with perfect attendance from November through mid-May earned 10 chances in the drawing.

Students with one absence earned five tickets and students with two absences received one ticket. However, students could double the number of tickets they earned if they were never late to class.
