Coloma student to appear on 'Oprah' Monday

A Coloma, Mich., student is part of a musical ensemble set to perform on Monday’s “Oprah” show.

Benjamin Farac Jr. will sing with Gold Company, a Western Michigan University musical group.

Western Michigan, located in Kalamazoo, said the school’s vocal jazz ensemble, along with some former and associated members, is slated to perform with pop singer Charice during the show.

The performance was taped April 29, the university press release said.
